Brexit/Remain Survival Guide
You would expect a Walking Dead’esque – dishevelled carcasses of humanity shuffling along mindlessly. As it would clearly seem – following social media in recent months. It would be easy to pick out singular themes yet the rhetoric from both sides (yes both) would have us believe that we are doomed either way.

If a tabloid ran the headline – EU Zombies will eat your babies – it would be all over Facebook as both truth and lies. Equally, if a broadsheet ran the opposite, staying will stop the Zombies from eating your babies. Again, social media will parade this as both truth and lies – friends, fiends and people I follow squawking out rhetoric for both camps.

So – what have the Zombies done to us? An interesting question, even the Zombies are probably stumped that they are now being conflated into the entire EU debate. After all so many other ridiculous notions have joined the argument, from both sides no less.

Maybe Brexit is the silver bullet for Werewolves?  If we remain, will we benefit from the collective protection of the EU against Vampires? These are difficult choices and I feel torn that my heart says that we should be more independent however my head looks at how we have fought off the Zombie threat for many years.

Is this silly, yes of course it is – then reading some of the many social media rants – sadly my contribution smacks of a potentially greater sanity in this fraught discussion.

The newspaper reports that revisions to the page have been made from computers using the government’s secure intranet since 2009. Looking back, 2014 was not a good year for keeping things safe under digital lock and key.
